Marten values community and actively participates as a dedicated volunteer including serving on numerous non-for-profit boards and committees.

Art is an experienced entrepreneurial executive who has been involved with numerous start-ups and has served at the senior most level of various Canadian public companies. He has had a long time interest in all aspects of real estate development, ownership and management. Art is also a committed community volunteer and has served on numerous not-for-profit boards and committees.
Gavin Blackstock, MCIP RPP, CEC
Principal
Gavin is a Registered Professional Planner and Certified Executive Coach who has worked on a range of large development projects locally and abroad, including mixed-use, housing, industrial and healthcare. He led the facilities team with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), and the strategic real estate portfolio for PHSA, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Fraser Health. Gavin is passionate about delivering high quality projects that serve the public interest while meeting his clients’ requirements. He has volunteered on multiple non-profit boards.
Keith McBain, BA, MHA
Principal
Keith has had a long and distinguished career with Health Authorities (both Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health) in British Columbia as well as BC Housing.
Shortly after retiring from Vancouver Coastal Health, Keith formed Peterheed Consulting Ltd and works in partnership with Field & Marten to assist clients with their current operations as well as development opportunities. Keith has a unique mix of commercial real estate and health care operational experience to assist clients to fulfill their vision of long term care.

Milton is a professional with a commerce education and over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He has more than 20 years of experience in construction and land development project management and consulting. He brings his strong technical and analytical skills from his experience in various sectors including commercial, institutional and residential projects. He and his wife enjoy serving as volunteers in a mentorship program for young couples in their community.

He has a bachelor degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and over 20 years of professional working experience in Project Management, Construction Management and Real Estate Development. He is results-oriented with strong analytical, conceptual, technical, and leadership skills. Over the course of his career, he has been deployed on high profile projects across Asia including the Gulf Region, Middle East, Shanghai/China and Canada.

Jannie is an account with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She has 6 years accounting experience working as an accountant for a construction company and as a senior accountant for a boiler erection company in the refinery industry. She possess over 30 years of U.S. and Canadian corporate tax and tax compliance experience with one of the biggest multinational wholesalers in North America.
