Beulah-Gardens
Beulah Garden Homes (BG Homes) was founded in 1951 to provide affordable housing for seniors. For 65 years, BG Homes has operated with this foundational mission in mind. BG Homes is a part of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada family. The community is currently made up of the Cedars Assisted Living (opened in 2008), Beechwood Residence (opened in 2006), Charles Bentall Residence (opened in 1991) and the Rupert Residence (opened in 1964). After many years of diligent work and prayers, construction has begun on Aspen Green, which will be the newest seniors’ residence to join the community.

Overview

Elim Village
The ground breaking for the first Independent Living building (which has been named the Sequoia) took place on Saturday September 10, 2016. The Sequoia is anticipated to be completed in February 2018, ready for new residents to move in and join the Elim community that many are already part of. Life Lease model will be used in this building.

Elim Village
Elim Village is a unique Christian-based retirement community located on 20 acres in the Fleetwood area of Surrey. The Harrison is a three-storey building designed around eight neighbourhoods. The Harrison is one of many buildings on the site. Owned and operated by Elim Housing Society.

We are resident and family focused, continually seeking to learn new approaches to support residents and families, especially when dealing with dementia, and to help people feel safe and secure as they cope with increasing losses of function physically and mentally. We believe that everyone involved with the resident is part of the care team and all are valued and important contributors to the life of the resident. We partner with community resources to help residents remain involved to the degree they are able.

Overview

Foyer-Maillard
The Foyer Maillard offers 125 private rooms of fully subsidized residential care (long term care) for older adults.

The new residence has nine neighbourhoods over three floors; fully staffed with professional multi-disciplinary care providers on a 24 hour basis. Each neighbourhood is equipped with bathing facilities, a dining room, resident lounge (activity) space, quiet room and access to the outdoors. All resident rooms are single bedrooms equipped with their own washroom for maximum privacy. The building also has a beauty salon, and a beautifully landscaped and secure yard for residents, family, friends, volunteers and employee enjoyment.

Overview

Peace-Arch-Hospital-Foundation
In keeping with our community’s long-standing commitment to seek the best solution for our evolving health care needs, the Foundation – in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Fraser Health Authority – has launched a comprehensive site Redevelopment and Expansion, which includes a new Emergency Department and residential care facility with a new hospice residence.

The new residential care facility will house 200 beds – 112 dedicated to complex residential care, 73 to geriatric mental health and substance abuse patients and a 15-bed hospice residence. This new facility will replace residential care beds currently located in the Weatherby Pavilion and the hospital’s existing hospice, making current acute care capacity more readily available for new patients.
